Enabling the Developer Tab in Excel is a simple process but is not shown by default. Here's how you can enable it so you can access features like macros, VBA, form controls, and add-ins.
Steps to Enable the Developer Tab in Excel:
For Excel 2016, 2019, 2021, and Excel for Microsoft 365:

Open Excel.

Click on the "File" Tab in the top left corner.

In the menu that appears, click on "Options" at the bottom (this opens the Excel Options dialog box).

In the Excel Options window, select "Customize Ribbon" from the list on the left.

On the right side, under the section Main Tabs, you’ll see a list of tabs available in the ribbon. Find and check the box next to "Developer".

For Excel 2013:
The steps are very similar:
